Zoom meeting with a panel discussion including audience Q & A features Lisa Wingate, author of The Book of Lost Friends, Naomi Mitchell Carrier, CEO Texas Center for African American Living History in Houston & Diane Plauche from the Historic New Orleans collection. This NYT best seller was selected because of its Louisiana setting and related themes of the book, specifically the “Lost Friends” ads. Keynote at 12:10 by Lisa Wingate presenting The Book of Lost Friends and Before We Were Yours, followed by a booksigning. Books will be available on site by Scuppernong Books.  Public welcome. April 1, 2023, 1 to 3:30 PM. Lisa Wingate discusses writing, her career and The Book of Lost Friends.  At 1 pm she leads a Book Club discussion of The Book of Lost Friends. From 1 to 3, Lisa is featured at the Great Southern Writer Lecture, with a Book Signing to follow. Books Along the Teche Literary Festival is a three-day multicultural literary festival with Cajun food, live music and author interaction.
