April 1, 2023, 1 to 3:30 PM. Lisa Wingate discusses writing, her career and The Book of Lost Friends.  At 1 pm she leads a Book Club discussion of The Book of Lost Friends. From 1 to 3, Lisa is featured at the Great Southern Writer Lecture, with a Book Signing to follow. Books Along the Teche Literary Festival is a three-day multicultural literary festival with Cajun food, live music and author interaction. Keynote address, “The Importance of Community and the Power of Story” followed by Q&A and book signing at the Harrell Performing Arts Theatre, 440 W Powell Rd, Collierville, TN. June 8 – 10, 2023.  Wingate will be a featured speaker at the Historical Novel Society Conference. Plans include a speech with Q & A session and a panel discussion (topic TBD). Lisa will also host a 60 minute evening discussion (topic, TBC). Other conference events include a reception and book signing. October 5, 2023, 7 PM. Lisa Wingate will talk about her books, including runaway Best Seller, Before We Were Yours, followed by a Q and A with audience participation. At 8:15 Leopard Print Books will have Wingate books for sale as Lisa autographs books. Presented by Friends of the Bay County Library System as part of the author series.  Free and open to the community. Location: State Theater. Bay City, MI.
